Crude Oil Measurement and Quality Systems
Crude Oil Measurement and Quality Systems (COMQS) are automated complexes designed for commercial and operational crude oil accounting. They measure mass or volume, as well as physical and chemical quality parameters (density, water content, viscosity) in real time. COMQS provide high measurement accuracy in pipelines, utilizing process skids, quality measurement modules, and data acquisition systems.
Main Components of COMQS:
- Metering Skid (MS): Measures crude oil flow rate using turbine, Coriolis mass, or vortex flowmeters.
- Quality Measurement Skid (QMS): Determines density, viscosity, water content, and other parameters.
- Data Processing System (DPS): An automated control system that collects and processes data.
- Connection Point for Stationary or Mobile Proving Unit: Used for flowmeter calibration.
