Reagent Dosing Units
The skid-mounted reagent dosing unit is designed for in-pipeline injection into a pipeline or process equipment of various reagents intended for oil demulsification, corrosion protection, salt deposition prevention, paraffin control, hydrate inhibition, etc.
The reagent dosing units are used at cluster sites, booster pumping station sites, water pre-separation units, crude oil treatment units, and other field facilities within oil and gas gathering, transport, and processing systems.
The reagent dosing unit consists of two separate modules: a process module and an instrumentation module.
The process module is manufactured in an explosion-proof configuration with a level of explosion protection corresponding to the hazardous area classification.
The instrumentation module can be supplied in two versions:
General-purpose version. In this case, the instrumentation module is freestanding and located at a distance from the process module, or the process module and the instrumentation module may be mounted on a common skid at a distance of at least 500 mm from each other.
Explosion-proof version. In this case, the process module and the instrumentation module are configured as two separate compartments within a single unit mounted on a skid. The compartments are separated by a fireproof partition.
In certain cases, the electric metering pump unit can be manufactured without the instrumentation module, or supplied with a set of control panels, a main distribution panel, and fire and security alarm panels in a general-purpose configuration, intended for installation in the Customer’s heated room located outside the hazardous area.
