Intelligent Dosing Unit

Monitors the following parameters:

  • Pump status (On/Off);
  • Chemical level in the tank;
  • Chemical flow rate;
  • Chemical temperature;
  • Enclosure (cabinet) temperature;
  • Discharge line pressure, MPa.

The unit provides comprehensive monitoring of the dosing equipment and enables remote control of the unit’s operating parameters. It is manufactured in both standard industrial and explosion-proof configurations.

Purpose

The unit is designed for receiving, storing, and controlled metered injection of chemicals into oil wells.

Design and Materials

The enclosure houses a 0.4 m³ process tank with a level sensor, a dosing pump, a fine filter, a visual level indicator, and a complete piping manifold. The tank, as well as all parts and components that come into contact with the chemical, are made of stainless steel.

The tank is equipped with a drain to ensure quick and complete fluid evacuation. It features a corrosion-resistant fill port with a strainer. An SDV-Ex level sensor is installed inside the tank to monitor the remaining chemical volume and transmit readings via the telemetry system.

Automation and Control

The automation system enables remote monitoring and control of all unit parameters, as well as data logging of key operating parameters. This provides complete oversight of the chemical dosing process.

The control unit allows for remote management of the dosing processes. Equipment status and operating parameters are monitored via an RS-485 interface using the Modbus RTU protocol.

Operational Features:

  • Automatic operation with automatic restart after protective shutdowns;
  • Remote and manual (local) control of the unit;
  • Automatic pump shutdown in case of low chemical level in the tank;
  • Automatic pump shutdown upon reaching upper and lower discharge pressure thresholds.
